Youth and Skills Orientation Workshop Highlights Youth Skills and Career Development

Phnom Penh, Cambodia — 21 August 2026

The Youth and Skills Orientation Workshop was successfully held on 21 August 2026 at the National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (NIEI) Office. The event was organized by the National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (NIEI) and funded by World Vision International in Cambodia, bringing together young people and key stakeholders to discuss Cambodia’s labour market, career opportunities, skills development, and the future of work.

The workshop created an important platform for young people to gain practical knowledge, engage with experienced professionals, and better understand the skills and competencies required in Cambodia’s evolving labour market.

NGOs Legal and compliance training

The Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) Cambodia, in collaboration with Phan & Corp Law Office through out legal study foundation, successfully organized a two-day practical training on Legal & Compliance for NGOs, held on 11–12 August 2026 at Himawari Hotel, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The training brought together NGO representatives to strengthen their understanding of key legal and compliance requirements, with a strong focus on:

  • NGOs Law (LANGO)

  • Labour Law

  • Taxation and related compliance obligations

  • Accounting & Auditing requirements

  • dentifying organizational compliance risks

  • Practical use of the NGO Legal & Compliance Checklist

  • Developing practical actions to address compliance gaps

Through interactive discussions, practical exercises, reflection activities, and experience sharing, participants had the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and explore practical ways to improve compliance within their organizations.
